Why did you become a vet?

Veterinary medicine has always been my one true passion. I told my parents when I was 7 years old that I would be an animal doctor when I grew up, so this is a lifelong dream come true!

What do you enjoy about your job?

I enjoy being an advocate for animals and forming relationships with clients through taking care of their furry family members. I also really enjoy the detective work of figuring out what is going on with my patients when they cannot communicate with me through words.

Education

Bachelors of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from Georgia Gwinnett College
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine

What do you love most about living in Memphis?

The food! My favorite technician at vet school sent me a long list of restaurants to try when I moved here and I plan on trying them all!

What secret talent do you wish that you had?

Teleportation, so I could go visit my friends that live far away or go on a little weekend vacation to different places around the world.
