Truth be told, I have always wanted to be a veterinarian ever since I was a little girl. I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses, and I loved caring for them and being their voice. Once in college this was reaffirmed when I realized I could combine a love for animals with a passion for science and medicine.
There are many things I love about my job. Most importantly I love being able to help my patients when they can’t tell their owners what is wrong.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Animal and Dairy Science from Mississippi State University in 2013, then went on to receive my DVM from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.
Memphis is so diverse and there are so many things to do. The variety of attractions, activities, and food are endless! It seems like no matter what time of year it is here; there is always something fun to do.
I wish I could still play the piano as well as I could when I was younger!
