Dr. Rhue has a Great Pyrenees mix named Charlie and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Oliver.

There has never been a time I did not want to be a vet. I have had a love of animals from a very young age and would always go around examining all of my stuffed animals with my doctor’s kit. I have also always had a love of solving puzzles. This profession allows me to combine my love of each, all while improving the lives of animals!
I love getting the chance to advocate for animals as well as form relationships with each pet and their owner. It is such a joy getting to care for a new puppy or kitten and then get the chance to follow their care through all stages of life. There is nothing like the bond between a pet and their owner and I love getting to be a small part of that bond!

It is so nice to be back home with my family! Memphis has so much to offer with a variety of food and activities, including the zoo and Shelby Farms. I especially love being back near the Orpheum to enjoy musical theatre productions.
There are so many things I wish I could do! I really wish I had artistic ability. I would love to be able to draw, paint, or craft.
