What happens "In The Back" - Part 2

When our veterinary assistants take your pet from the exam room and say they're going "to the back", it kind of sounds like an ominous, mysterious place. Things are always worse in our heads than they are in real life, amiright? 😉 To help demystify, Dr. Bugg is going to go through what happens when a pet comes to "the back" aka our treatment area for an exam. After the veterinary assistant takes your pet's vitals and works them up by getting any blood samples, watch as Dr. Bugg goes through a physical exam on your pet from nose to tail!

Dr. Graham and our Poplar team barely had enough arms to hold all 11 puppies in this one litter! We’re sure momma appreciated the break while we did 11 exams, checked 11 fecal samples for parasites, gave 11 dewormers and trimmed 132 nails (can’t forget dew claws)! 😮‍💨

Rue was looking magnificent on a leash when they came for a visit to Downtown! Just a safety reminder for kitty owners - please make sure you transport your kitties in and out our clinics in either a kennel or via a leash. If you don’t have one, we are happy to loan you a kennel for the quick trip in and out of the office. Carrying a cat in your arms puts them at risk for escaping outside or being startled by another pet in the waiting area and we want to see your pet safely!
