Megan Noseda, DVM

“When I was a kid, my father passed away and many times I felt like my family dog, Midnight, was the only one who was always there for me to confide in. I know a lot of veterinarians say that it is what they wanted to do since they were little, but it really has been for me. I will always feel the need to give back to the unconditional love that animals always give us.”

Hometown

I was born in Michigan but moved to Nashville, TN when I was 10 years old. Then my freshman year of college my family moved back up to Michigan, but the south had already stolen my heart!

Why did you become a vet?

When I was a kid, my father passed away and many times I felt like my family dog, Midnight, was the only one who was always there for me to confide in. I know a lot of veterinarians say that it is what they wanted to do since they were little, but it really has been for me. I will always feel the need to give back to the unconditional love that animals always give us.

What do you enjoy about your job?

I love the continuous learning process (super nerd alert). Every animal is different. There is no “standard” protocol. I am ALWAYS having to learn more because each case is unique, and the pet has to tell me what’s wrong. I feel like I develop a special bond between each and every one of my patients!
