I have loved animals since I was a little girl, and I always knew that caring for them in some capacity is what I was meant to do. I grew up with horses, cats, dogs, birds, and lots of aquariums. In school, I was drawn to sciences so veterinary medicine quickly became my focus. I love the relationships that are formed with my patients and I feel honored to advocate for them!
I would say what I enjoy most about it is that I am constantly learning and evolving as a veterinarian. From complicated to simple cases, there is something unique about every animal I see. Every case is important by what it teaches me and how I can use that knowledge to help future patients. I also love the collaborative nature of veterinary medicine in how we can utilize colleagues to provide the utmost care!

I haven’t lived here long so I can’t answer that question fully yet! I do know that Memphis has some amazing food and music, so I am looking forward to exploring that.
I wish I could garden! I have always wanted to be able to grow things that I could eat and have house plants, but up to this point I have been unsuccessful. A green thumb is something that I wish I had!
