I believe I was born to become a veterinarian. My favorite childhood memories all involve connecting with and learning about the animals on my family’s farm. As I grew up and life got harder, those same animals were always there to lean on. That made putting in all the work to become a veterinarian an easy choice. It is so rewarding to give back to all the pets and their owners as a “thank you” to the animals who made me who I am today!
Honestly, I enjoy most parts of the job. Probably my very favorite thing is getting to know my patients and their owners. It brings me so much joy to help them live their healthiest and happiest lives together, and I spend a lot of time thinking about how best I can serve each patient as an individual. I’m also a true nerd at heart and I love that in this profession you learn something new every day!

I love how there are some many fun outdoor activities to do, but we also have a great downtown scene! The food is amazing as well. I loved growing up in Memphis, so it was very important to me to come back and serve the community that raised me.
I wish I had a photographic memory… It would come in handy so much as a veterinarian!
