Why did you become a vet?

Truth be told, I have always wanted to be a veterinarian ever since I was a little girl. I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses, and I loved caring for them and being their voice. Once in college this was reaffirmed when I realized I could combine a love for animals with a passion for science and medicine.

What do you enjoy about your job?

There are many things I love about my job. Most importantly I love being able to help my patients when they can’t tell their owners what is wrong.

Education

I received my Bachelor of Science in Animal and Dairy Science from Mississippi State University in 2013, then went on to receive my DVM from Mississippi State University in 2017.
